Why We Move

A short manifesto on intention, attention and the difference between exercise and movement.

Exercise is often framed as a task to complete. Movement, the way we see it, is something closer to a conversation — between you, your body and the space around you.

Intention over volume

We care less about how much you do and more about how you do it. Ten slow, considered repetitions can ask more of you than thirty rushed ones.

Attention as training

Every class is an invitation to pay attention: to where your weight sits, to how you breathe, to the moment a movement begins. That attention is part of the work.

We move because it makes the rest of life feel a little more possible. That is reason enough.
